Information Use
The New York New Jersey Public Health Training Center (NYNJ-PHTC) uses standard log file information to track site usage by internal and external audiences, and help diagnose technical problems and usage patterns. This information is never linked to personal information or shared with any third parties.
Information Collected
When You Volunteer (deliberately send) Information
No information sent to NYNJ-PHTC is collected or disclosed for commercial purposes.
E-mail messages: During your visit to NYNJ-PHTC you may elect to send an e-mail to a NYNJ-PHTC representative. When you do so, your e-mail address and the contents of your message will be collected. Your e-mail address and the information included in your message will be used to respond to you, to address issues you identify, to improve this Web site, or to forward your message to another center partner for appropriate action.
Registration Information: The Center collects registration and evaluation information on a secure web server. Access to registration data is limited to those center partners who prepare evaluation reports. They have access to aggregate statistics on test and evaluation results but not to individual responses.
Information on registrants who request continuing education certificates is shared with the accrediting body designated by the registrant.
E-mail addresses of course registrants are not shared outside of NYNJ-PHTC. Registrants’ e-mails are used for limited NYNJ-PHTC messages such as follow-up reminders and occasional follow-up evaluations
