Get Continuing Education Credit

The course, Practicing Cross-Cultural Communication, consists of three separate modules, each with its own evaluation and continuing education credits forms. Each module should take about 1.5 hours to complete thoroughly.

Completing each module and its evaluation makes you eligible to receive 1.5 hours in continuing education credits, Category I CEHC, or Category One Continuing Medical Education credit towards the AMA/PRA Physician’s Recognition Award. 1.8 contact hours are awarded in nursing continuing education.

“Communicate to Make a Difference: Practicing Cross-Cultural Communication” is a web-based course that consists of three modules:

Each module is a separate case study which examines the practical application of the “Ten Strategies for Effective Cross-Cultural Communication.”

The cases have been inspired by real public health situations.
