I constantly have to login to the web-based training I am taking.

This is usually caused by a conflict between our courses and a learning management system (LMS). Some systems open courses in a “frame,” that is, the course opens within the LMS. Both systems are looking at your login credentials, which causes a conflict.

Solution: Open the course in a new window, outside of your LMS.

  1. Close your LMS.
  2. Open a new browser window or re-launch your browser.
  3. Navigate to www.nynj-phtc.org and login to the course you are working on.

What is asynchronous web-based training?

Asynchronous refers to an event that is not tied to any specific time. In terms of e-learning, an asynchronous training is one in which the learners can access and interact with the materials (and instructor, if applicable) at their convenience. Our web-based trainings are accessible anytime and do not require any synchronous (real-time) interactivity.
