Description By the end of the presentation, the attendee will be able to: 1) State the essential public health functions associated with workplace drug testing; 2) Identify demographic and occupation-related characteristics associated with an increased risk for substance abuse and dependence; 3) Describe employee reports of drug testing and substance abuse education in the workplace; 4) Distinguish between characteristics of employees and workplaces where drug testing occurs and those settings where there is no testing program.
