Public Health Nurse position available in Hunterdon County Health Department
Marianne McEvoy will be conducting interviews through July 30, 2008
This is a non-union, non-state employee position. RN/BSN preferred for 40 hours/week FTE position. Candidates will be:
- Knowledgeable about communicable and reportable diseases; vaccine preventable illnesses; emergency preparedness.
- Well organized and able to write reports.
- Able to multi-task.
- Experienced in field work, including planning, implementing, working flu clinics as well as reviewing school immunization audits.
- Knowledgeable in how to search the internet, use email, and has at least intermediate computer skills. (The State will provide computer training on the web-based data entry system, CDRS.)

Call for Public Health Nurses
The Association of State and Territorial Directors of Nursing is leading a national effort to establish a recommended public health nurse/population ratio based on a task analysis of public health nursing. The group is requesting assistance from the public health nursing community to recruit potential Delphi panel members.
